DD is almost 5, and has only asked for a new doll for christmas. i have been trying for >6 months for a bamboletta for her without any luck. i need a back up plan. I was thinking of getting her a boy/girl set of bitty twins if I can't get a bambo for christmas. She already has 2 corolle babydolls, so I didn't want to do a bitty baby.

any suggestions for a doll for 5 year old?

Bambos are SO beautiful, I just drool at them. I would love to see one IRL.

That said, I think there are a lot of other waldorf inspired dolls on Etsy that are just as beautiful (though slightly different).

I really thought that with time I would get a Bambo, but every week there are more and more people trying to get them.

I feel like I am settling for a doll (AG, etc) because DD is only asking for a doll (nothing else). instead of waiting for a waldorf doll and giving it to her whenever.
