FWIW, she does sleep with a blanket now. We've suggested MIL get the girls sleeping bags for when they visit her house. I'm not 100% sure I love the idea of the 2yr old in a sleeping bag so I'm thinking one of these instead: http://www.amazon.com/Wildkin-Horses-Pink-Nap-Mat/dp/B001F4OSJY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=toys-and-games&qid=1289789409&sr=1-1.

Would the nap mat last long for my 4yr old? We only visit MIL twice a year (although I'm sure they could use it at daycare or at home).
WWYD?

Yes.
We got my son his sleeping bag for Christmas last year, when he was 2 years, 4 months old. And it worked beautifully. He still loves it.

Do you mind if I ask which on you got him?

My kids all slept in a kids sleeping bag/bed around age 2. The kind that inflates into a mattress with an attached sleeping bag.

I think DS2 might get a sleeping bag for christmas. The others have them and we sometimes camp out in the family room. It would be a 'play' sleeping bag and not very warm.

A CARs sleeping bag that was on the endcap at Wal-mart.

We forgot our pack and play (Though he was already climbing out of it) and so bought what we could find on Christmas Eve for him to sleep with on vacation. So just generic kids sleeping bag.
