DD's unicorn pillow pet really needs a washing - it smells a bit. But I will be in big trouble if it gets ruined! Anyone washed one and had it come out clean and intact?
Thanks!

I've only washed once but it was fine. Ran it on cold water, delicate cycle. Air dry. I had to reshape a bit afterwards (manipulate the stuffing evenly into all four corner feet).
There is a note on the tag not to put in dryer. It takes a while to dry because of the stuffing, I put it in a warm place overnight.
ETA: Forgot to add as Laura said below, I did throw it in a pillow case.

Yes, we did it last night actually after a run in w/ a lollipop at the school movie night!
It looks fine, we put it in the pillow case, tied it shut and it's now hanging to dry.

I washed in my front loader in a pillowcase. I kept it in the pillowcase and threw it in the dryer too and it turned out perfectly.

I washed DD's after she got sick on it - yuck. I washed it in our front loader, cold, gentle cyle. Air dried outside. It turned out just fine!
