My daughter will be 8 in February & she wants science stuff- specifically human body stuff. My sister found me this great website- http://www.discoverthis.com/anatomy-kits.html My in laws are getting her magnatiles & my mother takes care of her own presents, so I don't know.

For her birthday, I'll probably get her more science stuff & an air hockey table.
I also saw some friendship bracelet making kits that look cute. www.fatbraintoys.com has great age related suggestions as well.
