I am trying to use the stove more and the microwave less. I remember my grandmother always used a pot on the stove to heat up pasta (that had been cooked, sauced and then refrigerated), but it was usually ravioli or some other "large" pasta. I tried reheating some spaghetti and it was just okay. Maybe I need to add more sauce. WDYD Any ideas?

I'd use a double boiler so a pan with water and then a pan above it with the pasta in it. The steam of the water pan will allow a more gradual re-heating I think.

Either go really low heat or double boiler.

Thanks for the replies. I don't have a true double boiler but might be able to make do with the pots I have. Lately I find I am trying to do things the way my mom and grandma did them, so (hopefully) the food will taste the same!

I don't have a double boiler. It works fine to just use 2 pots or a pot with a pan on top.
