I had almost decided to get the blue striped Calin, but he doesn't seem to suck his thumb. DS is a thumb sucker, and I'd like for his one and only doll to be one as well. Then I decided to look at Tidoo, but there's only one boy. It is apparently new and currently $35 on amazon (not available on the current spave) which is more than I want to spend. So..

Anyone have a suggestion for a similar boy doll that will suck its thumb and costs around $25 or less?

That's very specific! I hope one of our doll experts will chime in. The other option (which I did), is to get a Calin/Tidoo that you want and then just dress it in boy clothes.

There is a boy doll in Walmart that is $10 and I'm pretty sure can suck its thumb. Its actually a pretty cute doll! If you're nearby, its worth checking out, IMO.

Did you purchase Corolle clothes? That makes the price go up more than I want.

I didn't think it would be THAT difficult to find a small, boy doll that sucks his thumb and isn't expensive.

I'll try Walmart next time I'm there, but I really like that these are phthalate free.

I just used a neutral pj outfit I already had (and took off the pink hat that came with it). People have found outfits that fit at the dollar store (the fabric is really thin). I've been stalking craft fairs, but have yet to find a good Calin outfit.
