What type of shoe to go with my SAHM uniform?

What kind of shoes would you wear with this outfit? It's become my typical running around town, SAHM outfit. I normally wear it with black the above black Privos , but want to try something new.

I generally wear Skechers similar to your Privos but have recently branched out to flats in different colors. It really seems to dress up my outfits. Now that the weather is cooler I'm hoping to add boots to the mix.

I love how I look in flats with jeans a sweater. But in the next couple weeks it will be too cold :( I tried it last year and I felt like I was going to get frostbite just stepping outside my front door!

If I got Danskos what color? I typically think of them in brown, and was thinking black or grey would look too big and clunky?

What about some Merrel's? I've never owned a pair before. Are there some that look a bit more stylish, less boyish?

I would pick dansko professional clogs, but i wear mine with everything! I have the red patent, and get a lot of compliments on them. Surprisingly, they go with a lot of my outfits. I typically wear a lot of neutrals though. If you go dansko, i would definitely do the patent! I've had mine for two years, and they still look great!

Oh man, those are some HOT lookin' Dansko's! LOVE the red and the cheetah print! I haven't found the right size to feel comfortable for me, but that's probably because I was ordering by mail. I should go into Nordstroms and try them all on in various sizes.

Personally I only wear them with boot cut. You could probably do straight. I would think skinny was a no-no.

I just laughed out loud when I read your post, then looked down at the clothes I'm wearing today. Identical! Black fleece vest, pink shirt, jeans. Talk about a uniform, lol!

I would normally be wearing this with Sketchers, that are maybe the same idea as your Privos, but not quite as nice. I only wear my Danskos (brown marble patent) with boot cut jeans and for skinny or straight jeans, I wear tan or brown tall leather boots I got from Banana last year. It looks like it takes more effort than it does.
I also wear these a lot, in brown and in the picture they look unattractive but they fold over and have tan shearling which brings the style factor up quite a bit. I get a ton of compliments but they are cozy and warm.

So funny... I think the OP has my twin closet! That looks almost exactly like the outfits I generally run around in. I have a pair of Keen slides that I wear, a pair of LLBean clogs and black ballet flats that I alternate with outfits. I really like some of the other ideas along this thread though... I can't do clogs -- I kick them off too easily.

I'm a huge fan of the Merrell Spire Stretch, with the neoprene 'neck' on them. WARM, dry, SUPER comfy and not clunky. And will NOT fall off!

I actually got them from dillards today. when you out them on they are so shimmery. Change color. I know the petrol ones you are talking about, these are similar but more grey. I love them! i am so boring with my mom outfits though! I wanted to try to spice it up a bit. Oh and I am a nurse and they don't look like nurse shoes at all. I actually was debating on getting them because I thought they were a little to sparkley for me. But they are so awesome i couldn't resist! I can still have my boring mom outfit but with a little pop of fun! Oh, and the pic of the shoes don't do them justice! They are way cuter in person!

I really like mine. I have had them for years. I have heard some people find the fact that they are actually wood uncomfortable but I don't agree. They have held up quite well.

Not SAHM, but that's pretty much the look of my weekend wardrobe. I have Privos similar to the ones you posted and I wear those and my basic black Danskos on the weekend all of the time. I actually wear my Danskos A LOT, even to work like I am today.
