Maclaren Carbon Fiber & Leather Stroller $150 on Kids Woot

SO tempted to buy this! We are looking for a lightweight stroller. Anyone know any stores that might carry these so I can look at it first?


ETA: Nevermind. I got caught up in the great deal. We are not leather stoller people. I don't think LO will be that comfortable and I don't care how it looks. We really need an "off-road" stroller anyway. Off to research...

My husband bought it last night before it sold out, but I have significant questions about the black leather. We live in Los Angeles, seems it would get very hot... Anyone have any experience with leather strollers? Worst case we will just sell it, it seems like it was a great deal. Apparently this one is a Quest modification.

It's actually a Ryder, which is nicer than a Quest - it has a suspension and more of a recline (not as much of a recline as the newer Ryders). I'm assuming it also has leather handles, which are awesome on the Thurston Ryder.
It was a great deal for the stroller. It was $500 on gilt a few months ago!

You can always put a liner on it if the leather bothers you.

Thanks, that's great info. I figure when it will come, we will try it out and see what happens. It does have leather handles- which sounds very comfortable. I hadn't considered the liners :duh:
