Right now we are loving They Might Be Giants "Science is Real". I checked out their "ABC" CD from the library and it wasn't a hit with the kids. I would love to get some recommendations for a new CD for the car that won't drive me crazy (The Wiggles CD some how got lost:shrug:). TIA
Sarah

You should try some other TMBG, I think all their stuff is pretty kid-friendly. We do like their 123 cd much better than the ABC one. We also like the Robbert Bobbert cd, it's the lead singer from a band we like (Apples in Stereo) doing a kid's album.

We love Justin Roberts in our house. I've eve caught my husband listening to it without my daughter in the car.

Caspar Babypants is a local favorite (it's Chris Ballew from the Presidents of the United States.)

ETA: CD baby is a perfectly safe place to purchase a CD--our band has sold all of our CDs through them.

we will have to check him out!

we love the typical kids stuff here.. dan zanes, laurie berkner & tmbg

we also love paul simon, bob marley & the beatles here

& an extra annoying song that says "we like to party" over & over again (kinda techno, was on a mix cd from college)

Jack Johnson's Curious George soundtrack. It is a great cd and not annoying at all.

We have several Sandra Boynton CDs & I really like them. Blue Moo, Dog Train, Philadelphia Chicken (I checked them out of the library first to see (hear) if I liked them).
