This is just a hunch but I'm pretty sure there is a lady on my local Craigslist who is stealing strollers and then selling them. I came across an awesome deal on a Baby Jogger City Elite and City Mini (both from the same lady). She was selling them crazy cheap and her story just didn't add up (no kids with her when I met her, no car seats, yada yada). She told me she was just going to keep her Maclaren as her only stroller and get rid of the Baby Joggers to pay for a car repair. Fast forward 2 weeks - the Maclaren shows up on Craigslist for sale - really cheap. Some time passes and then this week the same lady posts two Bugaboos - again, ridiculously cheap. She had changed her email address but the phone number was the same. Sorry for the long story but just wondering - is there anything I can do to stop this?! How common is this kind of thing?? I would've loved to have gotten a great deal but my conscience won't let me knowingly buy stolen goods.
