Dh and I have decided to get ds a leapster for christmas. He covets his sisters ds like mad but I just don't think he's ready for it and we really can't afford the 100+ for it right now. I saw an offer for a leapster l-max and about 12 games on craigslist for 40 and I might be able to haggle and get it for less. But my question, since I'm ignorant about leapsters, is this. Are the games interchangable from one model of leapster to the other. Can you play the same games on the original,l-max and leapster 2 or if we will be buying new games at target are we commited to getting the leapster 2 since gamestop and slackers don't carry second hand leapster games.
If someone could let me know I'd appreciate it. I just want to make and educated purchase and if he can't play the new games on an l-max then there's really no point to buying one is there?.
