Cleaning mold from shower ceiling.

We bought this house about 2 years ago, and still haven't gotten around to installing an exhaust fan in the bathroom (don't know why there wasn't one in the first place!).

Anyhow, I've started noticing dark spots on the ceiling of the shower/tub- pretty sure it's mold from the dampness. Any suggestions on how to clean it? Is it something a professional needs to do?

As a side note, who would we call to install a fan in the bathroom (electrician, plumber, HVAC guy?). Sorry, I'm pretty clueless when it comes to these things!

Clean with a diluted bleach solution. Scrape/sand as needed. Repaint with a mold/mildew resistant primer and paint like Zinssers. I think you can install a fan yourself if you are handy, otherwise, I'd call an electrician.
