Well, it's not traditional, but I'm a huge fan of the online mag, Hybrid Mom. www.hybridmom.com.

Not sure if this deal is still active but I renewed my parents magazine through discount mags for 3 years for $6 on Saturday - here's the thread with the details (discount mags does not auto renew and if you go through mr. rebates you get 12% back, so I think the subscription was $5.12)
