Snow Boot Dilemma..

Excuse my naivete but I am not sure which snow boots to purchase. Now that I have 4 active children, I need more than fashion snow boots.
Lands' End, North Face, Sorel? Are they all equally good? Is one much better than the others? I'll be sledding, snowman making, etc

I can't comment on the Lands End and North Face ones, but I love my Sorel boots. I bought them six (at least) years ago, and they're still going strong. I've never had a problem with them, they feel good, and they keep my feet warm :).

I have the zip up ones--not the most fashionable choice, but they were $40 on clearance. For that price I wasn't going to quibble about style. They've definitely been worth the $6.50 a year :).

Sorel is the original and still the best. JMHO.

Thanks so much. Amazon has a CM promo so I got the Sorels I wanted for $80. I dread the snow but these look like they'll be plenty warm for building a Frosty.
