Is there anything safe/natural that works well on clothing to reduce static? I primarily stick with 100% cotton or cotton-rich clothing since cotton isn't static-prone, but we do have a few fleece pieces thrown in the laundry too (footed sleepers, etc). And I HATE static. Not just the static that is generated when you dry clothes in the dryer, but I HATE static when I'm WEARING the clothes! The Lands End anti-static fleece was indeed antistatic - but only through a couple of washes. Now it's just as static-y as regular fleece.

again i am going to recommend white vinegar. i read somewhere that in addition to being a fabric softener, it also reduces static.

just add it in the washing machine as you would a fabric softener, about 1/2 cup.

fwiw, static is never an issue for us, so this may not work, but i remember reading it somewhere. hth

I've tried this. It doesn't work:( I've tried apple cider vinegar too.
