Need some ideas - presents for 2 9 yr old girls

I need to buy something for 2 9 yr old girls and am not sure what to get. They have a wii so maybe a wii game with a Target receipt in case they already have it or just want to return it. I can't think of anything else. We don't know the girls that well but we see them once per year so I don't know what they are into and I think 9 is kind of a hard age to buy presents for. Any ideas?

We have a ton of books so I don't want to buy more, but they are also always good. Or a GC to B&N or Borders.
