Need Pics of easy Holiday decor

The other thread a few weeks ago about "Cheap and easy" ways to decorate one's house got me thinking...

I tried someone's idea w/ the ornament balls in a vase or glass pitcher of sorts --- and it's NOT looking right!!!

I also would love to see some pictures of how you decorate your banisters - w/ the greenery, garland (?), and bows.

Hahahahaha. DD and I made a centerpiece with a glass bowl and ornaments and it looked a little off too! I feel ya!

Hm, well I didn't read all the other thread, but I think combining different sized balls in the bowl/vase looks best. And I love a grouping of decs that shows differing heights, and an odd number of objects (love things in threes).

OP, I tried to link to some pics to show you some of the easy ways I have used my existing decorations, but I think my pics are still too big! Anyway, I don't have a pic of balls in a bowl, but I do have a pic of balls hanging from the ceiling fan. I also don't wrap my garland around the bannister, but I do have a pic of it wrapped around a wall shelf. Anyway, hope this helps.
