Difference between Learning Resources cash registers?

I'm wondering what the difference is between the Play and Pretend cash register and the Teaching one. They are both pretty good prices on amazon right now, and I'm wondering if the teaching one is worth the extra $8 for some reason.

The more expensive one has the scale, scanner and coin slot.

totally worth it. comes w/a coupon card and credit card. LOVE that cash register and the games on it!!

We love it too, although honestly I have no experience with the other one.
