Wii Resort - has lots of great games on it - 100 pin bowling, sword slicing games, frisbee, ping pong, and more

We didn't get a Wii until DS was 6, but the first games he liked were the Diego games (very easy games, maybe too easy if your nephew is used to the Wii). I agree with the Lego Start Wars and Wii Sports Resort if he doesn't already have those, though Lego Star Wars is actually rated ages 10+. For an exercise game, DS really loved Walk It Out, it gives rewards for walking more. It can be played with just he wiimote/nunchuck or with a dance mat or Wii fit board.

Mario Kart, and the Diego Dinosaur game.

I'd say Wii Party, Just Dance Kids, Kirby's Epic Yarn, Epic Mickey are great choices.

Definitely Mario Kart! It's really fun for everyone. My 6 yo loves it.

I'd recommend asking the parent so you know what he already has and what he'd like. If he's like my 5-year-old, he already has games that he likes (my son's favorites are Super Mario Bros and Mario Kart--he only occasionally plays Resort Sports), and he will also know what games he wants from going to friends' houses. (For my son, that's Lego Indiana Jones II).

We just got Amaya the new Nick Fit. I imagine it will be advanced for her but I plan for us to do it together.

I'll have to check out I Spy.
