These boxes only come with 70ish duplos, more is not too many -- but, you may not want the redundancy of having two sets of the same pieces. I searched "e-gift card" on Wal-Mart's site and there are some other deals but nothing I was interested in.

Just bought four sets- one for DC, one for gift closet, and 2 for Toys for Tots. (Used the gift cards they emailed me to pay for the last 2). $10 is the perfect price point for me. And Duplos are the Best- safe, non-electronic,and great for hours of imaginative play.

Some folks use the eGift Card to order a physical gift card for instore use.

I had trouble getting my gift card, but I emailed customer service and they resent it. The first reply I got back was a canned response, but I replied through my email and then they sent it. I just ordered another set and this time the gift card came right away! I couldn't resist a second one...I had actually purchased one at $15, but figured I will return that one and get two for $18 now. I haven't picked up the $15 one, so will just pick up and return all at once.

You might want to put it in your cart and start the checkout process. I also saw the headline about "on or before 12/24" but when I went to buy it, it said 12/16-12/22. It could be that the 12/24 is just to highlight that they will deliver before Christmas.

Thanks for letting me know. I need the duplos for a giving tree gift and it's due early next week. There isn't a Walmart very close to me, so even having it shipped to the store prob wouldn't work. I had planned to hit Target or TRU this weekend, just saw the deal and hoped it would work for me.

The subject will say "you have an egift card......" and the actual email will have a gift card #, a pin, and directions on how to use it.

After contacting walmart through the website, getting a canned email back, sending 2 replies (yesterday and this morning) w/no response I finally called a few minutes ago. 30 minute phone call (over 20 minutes on hold!) and he emailed me a new ecard. Received notice of the order in a few minutes, and then the actual ecard a few minutes after that.

2 automated emails and 24 hrs after placing the order, I finally have an ecard in my email.

I bought last week from amazon as well. I actually got two, one for DS and one for a friend's daughter.. her 2nd bday is coming up. She already likes to play with DS's legos when she comes over to play. I loved legos as a kid and I think it's fine for a girl too!

What is the number? I only found a customer comment number. I clicked on the link to order the set (it still says $20 e-gft card on the image), and when you go to add it to your cart it says $10 gift card. Help!

That's funny -- 2 days ago, the item page image said $10 gift card but it gave you $20. Now it says $20 but it gives you $10. Dumb Walmart.

My guess is that it was a pricing error at the start which is why at some point they got stingy about handing out the rewards.

just clicked on the link and looks like they changed the price from $29.00 with $20 eGift card to $24.97 with $10 eGift card so looks like the $9 deal is over.

For the buyers wondering when to expect their shipment, I just received my Walmart 71-block Duplo set in the mail today. They told me when I checked out that it would come between December 15-20th, and the tracking told me it would be delivered Dec 14th, so earlier than both estimates.
