My BFF's little boy is almost 2. She has requested no more toys (lol) and mentioned that he does need some new hooded towels. She lives across the country from me, so I'd like to order online and have them shipped to her. Any deals out there for good quality, cute, toddler towels? Monogramming is a plus but not necessary.

TIA!

I bought one of these and it sheds terribly. I have to wash it separately ... I figured I would only have to do it once or twice to get all the pilling off but I'm still washing it separately several months later.

so these mullins square hooded towels might be a little pricey but we absolutely love them.. our first DC got a monkey one with his name embroidered on one as a gift and grandma insisted on getting DC 2 one also... they wash really well ans still work great for our almost 3 year old son...

amazon doesn't seem to have a lot of selection, so you might find cuter styles elsewhere.

i forgot to add that the mullins square towels are huge... we were previously using the carter's hooded towels and needed 2 to dry off our growing toddler... this ended up being the best and most useful gift that we've gotten for him.

I haven't had the PP's problem with my monster version of the jumping beans towels. I just picked up the mitts to match for xmas.

My Jumping Beans towels shed the first couple of weeks of washing but not since then. I never had to wash it separately though. I love that they are huge and can completely wrap my 2 yr old while the hood is on his head. I used to use a new towel every night but i've gone to every other now since i'm down to 3 towels that work for him. The monster one is the only one i'm missing!

Costplus World Market has some for 12.99 - I was tempted but DS already has a Jumping Beans monster and duck:

I may be late chiming in, but I got a really nice frog hooded towel for my nearly 2 yr. old at my local Target. Much softer and better quality than the Jumping Beans one IMO. And of course, no shedding :p They also had a duck and monster one I believe...but only the frog one was made of a softer cotton so that's why I got it.
