Help - company party tonight and no outfit yet!

And all I have decided on is a knee-length black skirt with black sequins on the bottom edge and a slit. It is very low key and not flashy, sort of clingy. I was planning to wear a gray/silver top I had but it is loose and makes me look pregnant. So I have 5 hours to find a top!
What kind of top should I wear with it? What color?
I'm planning to wear black pumps with it (cannot wear heels and cannot pull off tall boots with skirt). What do I wear on my legs??
Must be in B and M store - I have almost all the stores AT, ATL, Macy's, etc near me.
Please post links if possible!

I would think almost any top would go with a black skirt like that. Bring the skirt and have the saleslady help you. Ann Taylor looks like they have a lot of choices. I'd wear black tights with a pattern with black heels.

Thanks. I couldn't find a top for the skirt so I gave up and wore boring black pants. But we had a good time!
