So I was too late to the Amazon thread and missed out on the awesome price so resorting to full price since my DD loves to draw. Can you tell me the difference between these 2? And how does the travel one compare?

I think both the links are the same, which other one did you mean? I am so mad I missed the lightning deal too. I believe the one you linked to is $15 at my Walmart.

ETA: It annoys me that all the aquadoodle pictures show more than one kid using it, but none come with more than one pen. At least none that I can tell.

the dimensions are the same, so I don't really think there is a difference!? We have one of those (not sure which since they look the same to me) and my dd likes it. We also have the travel one, which we always forget to bring along in the car... It is a nice size to travel but also big enough for them to write on and draw pictures. I love it because there is NO MESS!

we have one of these too (nontravel) but I may have gotten it at too young an age for my kids. my DS would suck the water out of the end of the water pen (:nono:) and he drew on the pad with crayons which then makes a waterproof barrier on the pad. Despite all of that, if the price was right, I would get one now that he's 3.
