I was at a holiday party on Saturday (DH's boss). They had a sausage and sauerkraut dish in the slow cooker that was absolutely delicious. I meant to have DH ask his boss for the recipe. Meanwhile, does anyone have a good recipe for turkey sausage and sauerkraut?

You could adapt this for the crock pot...I would put everything in at once (mix the cabbage, saukraut, etc, put it in the pot and lay the sausage out on top) and cook it on low for several hours. I haven't used turkey kielbasa but I think it would work just fine.

This is what is cooking right now in our house! I actually put in two cans of saurkraut, a package of turkey sausage, dice up potatoes and cook. The original recipe I had asked for some apple juice, but when I originally started cooking this I pre-kids I never had any in the house so I've never added it. Its one of my emergency backup meals (ie, up with both kids all night and can't think meals.)
