Anyone with older kids who like puzzles have a good solution for doing big puzzles over days without leaving them out? We got a two-pack of 500 piece map puzzles for Hanukah and DS1 likes it, but we don't have a great spot for doing large puzzles--they need to be out of reach of the 2 yo.
The table or counter works, but then it's hard to put it away and finish it later. We've been using a big piece of cardboard but it's flimsy. I saw "puzzle boards" and "puzzle mats" online but some of them are fairly expensive. I imagine I could just get a piece of plywood? Or do the "puzzle mats" work? If they did it would really be a space saver, but it's hard to believe the puzzle would still be in place when you unrolled it.
