So, totally unofficial, but we think DH is coming home early from deployment! Intead of April, he should be home in very early Feb.
We would like to take DD on a 2 or 3 days trip to go play in the snow.
No skiing required, but we would need to rent sleds or go somewhere where we could buy some cheapies.
Hotel needs to be semi-kid friendly, but we want someplace nice for us, too. An indoor pool would be AWESOME, but maybe too much to ask for (they seem hard to find!)
Can't spend an arm and a leg, but this will be our only vacation, so I want to make it as good as possible!
We thought about Asheville, but there is no info on family friendly stuff there, more so on Biltmore and skiiing and shopping.
Any ideas for a great trip within a day drive from Coastal NC? (We'll be in Chapel Hill for a day or two at the end of the month, I guess we could tack it on to that trip, too, if the route calls for it!)
