I went to a store and tried a new P3 and actually liked it quite a bit for DD. I got home and went onto craiglist and saw one that looks brand new, but it's a 2005, priced at $125. What do you think? If that's too pricey, what would be a good offer price for one in like new condition? I only worry that it's a 5 year old stroller. What are the cons of this stroller? Thanks!

My 2003 is still going strong. I really do like this stroller. The only con for me is the cupholder and small basket, but maybe those things were addressed on future models?

That said, we've done plenty of zoo trips and survived 5 days in Disney with the P3 just fine.

Thanks for responding. Now I just need to figure out if that price is ok. They are 100% firm on it. :(

That seems high to me for a 2005. We have a hand-me-down plikomaticat my mom's. I think it's a 2004. It's fine, but I wouldn't pay $100 or more for it. It seems to me that you should be able to find a newer model for close to that price... I know they are on our CL in near new condition for the low $100s all the time... And you can often find new ones in the low $200s...

ETA:
I don't know anything about this store, but this is a new one for $165 (shipping is about $35)

Here's an example of one that looks like it's in nice shape on my CL for $60 http://chicago.craigslist.org/nch/bab/2124877191.html

seems a tad high to me, too... How soon do you need the stroller? Something else may come up on CL, or these sellers will agree to reduce price.

also, check out this site:

And google pliko p3 - you never know what deals might be roaming around, especially if you do't mind getting an older model.

Wow, that craiglist ad does seem nice! Yeah, I decided against the 2005. I cant justify spending that much. I found a couple on ebay too that seem nice, but the shipping cost makes it less worth it. I just listed my BJCM so hopefully when that sells I will be able to buy a new one on sale. :)

looks like you got your answer but i just wanted to agree with the other posters that $125 seems slightly high. i sold my 2007 this spring on craigslist (also newish condition) for $120 including an add-on cupholder. depending on your market, if you're patient you could probably find a newer one for closer to $100 with a motivated seller. or, a brand new one online! they seem to be frequently on sale at albeebaby.com as well (where i originally purchased mine). good luck!

My 2004 has been through a LOT. I don't think I would pay that much if it's been used.

the Pliko P3 is my everyday stroller. We love it.

we sold our 2007 P3 earlier this year for $100 and in three months replaced it with a 2009 P3 for $125. So I think $125 for a 2005 is over priced.

After doing some more research I would really like to find a 2009 or newer. All I seem to find are 2007 and older though. I will keep searching. Let me know if anyone finds a stellar deal on a new one!

I live in the Seattle WA area. I just joined the strollerswap and posted and ISO. I would love help finding one if you have time! :) I really do think I want a 2009 or newer because of the padded handles and the contoured seat.

This may be more than you want to spend but it is a 2010 for $228 shipped from a reputable store http://www.justkidsstore.com/prod/peg-perego/pliko-p3-stroller/red-step

I saw that one. It's the best deal I can find on a 2010. Albeebaby has a good deal on a 2009 at $199.
