missing the rush from Amazon sales--what other sales can I look forward to?

I already miss the recent Amazon sales before Christmas. Are there any other sales coming up that I can look forward to? I've already read about the infamous Borders sale from last year and am crossing fingers for a repeat but it sounds like the chances are low.

I KNOW!!! We need someone who is detail-oriented to make us a calendar of past sales from Amazon, Borders, Hanna, etc.

I don't know if Borders will have a repeat of the $1 sale eventually, but I received an email about how they do have items that are up to 75% off now and certain toys are included. Calendars are 50% off at this point. I haven't visited my local store yet though & ymmv in terms of the selection when it involves toys/games.

Ahhh! I keep checking this thread too and it's barely even moving! I had some things I was looking for after Christmas and so far nada.

Last year I stumbled onto an awesome in-store Children's Place sale around 1/26. All of the winter stuff was <$2.99 for babies and <$3.99 for older kids. Nothing was marked with the low prices so I don't think a lot of shoppers caught on. This included winter coats, PJs, sweaters, canvas cargo pants, etc. I got almost everything we needed to outfit DS for this winter for less than $100. Do any of you know if this is common or if was just an especially good sale last year?
