Just wondering if anyone has a promo code or knows of a way of getting discounted admission to the Museum of Science & Industry. We'd like to go as a family, but it gets a little expensive.

Thanks!

Are you in Illinois? Sometimes public libraries check out passes - - I know the city ones do. Also, are you members of any museums (esp. childrens museums with reciprocal membership) that will get you into sci&indus or get you in for half price.

Go to the website under membership and there is a list of reciprocating institutions - - we often buy membership for that reason either in our state or sometimes where we are visiting.

The museum also has quite a few free days - - though they are very crowded.

Last, if you are driving be aware there is free parking if you don't go into the parking garage but instead enter and follow driveway toward the lake and kind of curve around. You can save quite a bit this way.

Get a membership. Totally worth it if you go even twice a year.

We use our local children's museum pass for all the museums in Chicago. Much cheaper.

When we went this fall my sister sent me a link to a printable coupon for a few bucks off admission. I don't know where the link is anymore though.
