Lego Duplo people....

can you buy just people/animals to go with the bricks? For Christmas DD got a container of Legos and one of the zoo sets. She loves both of them (as I hoped she would!), but she only has one person to "play" with.

Plus my mom has some Duplos from when I was little, but would love to update the people (she has the old, square people).

I really don't want to have to buy more bricks/sets just to get more people for her..................(though I will buy more eventually!)

We have a similar set to what hillview posted. DS2 loves lego people. Duplo, regular lego figures...doesn't matter :)

In Target today they had a duplo set which was just a person and horse I think, it was on clearance $5.xx.

I can remember, growing up, having "Lego minifigs" on my Christmas list because I needed more people!
