defect in corolle doll from amazon sale--what should i do?

hi gals!
i ordered the baby tidoo, our first corolle, for $17.49 on amazon (still at that price btw). of course i just took it out of the package and am now noticing that one of the eyes is problematic. it's a different color from the other one and really hazy/disturbing looking. has anyone had experience with corolle customer service?
i'd like a replacement doll but am not sure if i should go through amazon or corolle...
and is my doll the only one with problems?

Last year, I got a Corolle doll through Amazon (through a particular supplier) and its outfit was defective - b/c it was through the supplier, that was who I contacted, and they sent me a new outfit right away. I suspect you should first contact Amazon and see what they say - I would think they would replace the doll for you (even if they then need to get one from Corolle).

well i should have just done this in the first place but i called amazon and they'll be sending me a return shipping label so i can mail it back for free and get a refund. thank you!
