Long story made short: When I was preg. I found a great deal on a MBUD in a different city in CL, but my sis got it for me. Got it a ride to my house. Pretty good condition, but for a broken clasp by the basket. Didn't love the sun shade, very short, otherwise, like it.

Fastforward to after the baby was born, still browsing CL and found a used BOB for a steal. I went to look at it and bought it bec. the awning was so much better and I thought the push was smoother.

NOW for my question and dilemma: I just went for a walk with the BOB- I don't jog, only walks- and completely didn't notice until started walking that the front wheel doesn't TURN!! I looked at it and it is locked in place with a wheel cover thingie and apparently I got a version that doesn't swivel! Argh!! Is this a real old version of the BOB? I know nothing...

I've been trying to sell the MB, but now should I sell the BOB instead bec. it won't work for my purpose of turning every 8 minutes around another city block?!

Thanks for any advice!

Bob is a jogging stroller company so they have a few fixed wheel models. The only swivel wheel model is the revolution. If you won't jog then it's probably worth posting the BOB back on CL.

Thanks, but does the fixed wheel model look like the revolution? Bec. this one does.

Yes, they look very much alike. The good news is you can probably sell the Bob for what you paid for it. Maybe you could even ask the person you bought it from if she had other interested people that she could put you in touch with.
I would suggest checking out some stroller sites and reading reviews on the different types to get more familiar. www.letsgostrolling.com is a good one that often has videos that give you a "tour" of each stroller. There are also you tube videos but I forget the company that does them. It's something like Baby Gizmo.

You are probably best off reselling it. Personally I might buy one of the sale revo duallies right now. LL Bean had them for $439 shipped. Most other places have them for 15% off. You can sell the fixed wheel bob and the MBUS. In a few years you can sell your duallie revo and still come out ahead...

Well, my CL is pretty lousy... nobody likes to spend money here I guess... I posted it and we'll see what happens. I'll also contact the person I bought it from, good idea!
I do know about stollers, I just wasn't familiar with the BOB because I never thought I'd buy something like that- way too out of my league $wise, just saw it on CL for a great price and was sucked in to buying it :p

It looks most like one of the two top ones- except for the covering over the front tire.
My top price to spend on a double stroller was $350, so even at those great prices for a BOB Revolution, it still is over my budget. But, thanks! I'll probably just stick with the MB- though I REALLY don't like the single awning. But, I will grin and bear it ;)

It could be a Revolution Duallie in fixed wheel mode.

If it is the Revolution Duallie, there is a red button on the front axle that changes it from fixed wheel mode to swivel mode.

Thank, but I don't think it is a Revolution because there is no button and there is no way to make it swivel- the handle brake attaches to the front wheel and there are metal bars (very bad description, I know...) coming out of the center of the wheel. It is impossible for it swivel. But, really- thanks for trying to help! ;)
