Made the homemade granola out the the artisan bread book yesterday and it is a HUGE hit. I will never buy store granola again. I used local organic honey and local maple syrup. Pecans and cranberries were my additions. DH want's to add chocolate chips to the final cooled product next time.

Side note..I am now buying milk from a local dairy (comes in the big glass jars) and I am kicking myself for not doing it sooner. Dd1 who is a total non milk drinker LOVES it.
ETA- I didn't add sunflower seeds (I dont think those are in the book) or coconut as my family doesn't care for it.
