We just moved DD over to her convertible car seat (Evenflo Triumph Advance-the new one that goes up to 65 lbs, and we're planning on keeping her rear-facing as long as possible). My car (Hyundai Santa Fe) is the main vehicle that she'll be riding in, plus it's larger than DH's car (Honda Civic), so we figure that this setup will be fine for now. However, I'm wondering if it would be worth it to invest in a smaller, less expensive seat in the future. Our families live across the country, so I know air travel is in the cards while she's in car seats, plus we may need his car (if mine is in the shop, ect.). Thoughts? Suggestions?
