So, after much debate I finally settled on the 2011 BJCM in green. Got a great pricematch deal and the stroller arrived Friday. I was super stoked!!! I actually clapped when I saw the box on my front porch! Was waiting to DH got home to open it up.
I was chatting with a friend of mine that afternoon about it and she asked me to stalk CL to see about some sort of double. I had been stalking CL lately for a BJCM and nothing. However, we live in Gracotown so I wasn't expecting much.
So, much to my shock, I do a search and up pops a BJCM.
Okay..... (how did I miss this.)
In black. (one of my 2 color choices.)
Comes with the tray.
Wait for it.....wait for it.....
She's asking $100 for it.
Okay, so now all the wind is out of my sails. For days, I have been debating the 2010 vs the 2011, the color green vs the color black, playing with them both in person, researching old threads, asking endless questions. I even contemplate sucking it up and waiting for the purple.....and now this. (i lust for the purple, but need this type of stroller now.)
I open my CM box and pull the stroller out, stare at it, but I cannot get myself to upwrap it. Why? Because I could get this black one, and then maybe buy the skins for the purple when it comes out and be ahead $$$$ wise. DH is against this, calling it a "frankenstroller." :rotflmao:
I keep thinking about it. Feeling like this is such a good deal, and I should return my new one and buy the used one. It's only 2 years old. The pictures make it seem like it's in good condition. Why spend $200 on a stroller when I can spend was less for the exact same thing? That keeps playing in my mind. I've bought used strollers before, so that's not the issue.
I emailed her yesterday. Yes, it's still available. And it's a 2009. And the kicker.....she's dropped the price to $75.
So, if you were me, what would you do?
