Ikea returns

Does Ikea accept returns without a receipt? The items are in the original packaging.

Just did this- they gave me store credit.......

I was bummed because it had just been days and I couldn't find the receipt anywhere!!!

IME, NO they do NOT! Even if you call and ask them multiple times if they take it without a receipt.
