Tip for massage in home?

I am getting a massage by a woman who is coming to my home to do it. Do I tip her?

I always thought it someone was a business-owner, you don't tip (because they set their rate) but you do tip an employee. But I'm not sure this is a real rule that people follow?

I tip $5 whatever her rate may be.

Yes, you tip her. She is driving to your home & hauling her table. What a luxury to not have to leave your home!

I hear ya Deb. I'd actually prefer to go out b/c home is part of the stress for me and I don't get out much. But she works very far away and is in a circle of friends that I'd like to support. It'll be great though - so looking forward to it! And I will tip :)

yes I tip ... especially since they are coming to me... lugging their table, driving to me etc.
