Just for WatchingThemGrow :)

1) baby snuggles
2) watching the sun rise
3) my 2.5 year old saying, "I make Mama happy!"

Yours?

My baby does a rolling R sound when he's happy. We think he's just purring. :love-retry:

My older son asked me for some love "right now" yesterday. He gave me a huge hug and said "mmmmmm".

-Watching the snow fall slowly outside my window, into the woods

-The excitement that is Sephora

-The noise DD makes when she kisses someone

-Waking up in the middle of the night and checking on my kids, only to find them in the same room, cuddling. They spent the last 2 years in the same room and miss each other :)

sitting on my parent's porch at sunset, listening to the waves on the beach and seagulls calling overhead, with a nice glass of red wine in my hand.

DD K's belly laughs.

Listening to DD play in her bed at night making "phone calls" on her toy phone to all the people she loves.

DH in his baseball uniform. (he plays for a men's baseball league)

Getting excited hugs from DD when she gets home from preschool.
DS saying "I love you too mommy" when I give him his final goodnight kiss. He is usually half asleep so the words come out all sleepy sounding.
Snuggling with DH on the couch after the little kids go to bed.
When DSS jumps in to help with the after-dinner clean-up without being asked.
Spring.

Gross but true: Lula pooping in the potty. Oh, I dearly, sincerely love not cleaning preschooler poop out of panties.

Cosleeping with Dolly. Never thought I'd do it, much less enjoy it.

Cooking with DD. She's on a kick where she loves to help cook, and we have a blast.
DD calling me Mama. I don't know where it came from, but I love it.
Snuggling with DD in her bed for a few minutes every night. The best.
Doing the NYT crossword puzzle with DH.

Oh, so YOU'RE the one to blame for the bad snow karma. Stop saying you like snow. You're only allowed to say you like snow in the mountains here. ;)

But rain and 33 degrees is soooo boring! :D On Sunday we were told to expect more than a foot, now it's just rain rain rain.

Rocking TT to sleep with his head on my shoulder.
When M is proud of something he did becasue he worked so hard.
When either one gets a booboo and they come to me to kiss it.
When DH pulls me close and hugs me for a long time.
Looking at M knowing that he has been through hell and back and how close we were to losing him but how he beat all the odds.

Goodness me, this post is making me all warm and fuzzy inside!!

For me:

- When I leave my infant playing on his mat for a few minutes, and come back into the room, his entire face lights up like he thought he'd never see me again, and I'm the most beautiful sight in the whole wide world.
Makes up for every single moment of labor, the crying, every single thing a million times over

- co-sleeping, like PP

- when he seeks me out to nurse in the night.

Looking in on the kids when they are asleep
The hugs / kisses / snuggling in bed
When I step back and look at my life, how luck we all are
Going with DH to our local pub and just hanging out talking about stuff

When DC hold hands walking together

The warmth of the sun shining on my face

Watching DD "fly" around the house playing Tinkerbell

The smell of vanilla and cinnamon baking together

Life is so beautiful.

I love...
... the sight of fog rising off a lake as the sun is coming up.
... how a mother deer looks caring for her newborn fawn.
... seeing the stars and smelling the crisp winter air on a still, moonless night in the mountains.

... cuddling with my guys, day and night, but especially when they cuddle up to me at night in bed. (Never meant to be a co-sleeping family, but WOW is it fantastic.)

... spending alone time with my DH, who is the most fascinating person in the world to talk to.

... figuring something really really hard out, and then translating it so other people can too.

Gosh, wayyyy too many things to list. I feel so very very lucky.
