it looks the exact same; basket looks more shallow and hangs a bit lower in the back....wonder if the fabric is shiny like a mb duo? pretty much unchanged though on the frame...

The frame definitely looks unchanged. The fabric reminds me of the BJCM fabric. The fabric is so different from the old fabric. I wonder how this will effect the resale value of pre-2011 BOBs.

not liking the gray/orange one...the purple on is pretty. i can also see a red button for the new car seat adaptor spot? we need to find a pic with the canopy fully open- dying to know if it is more of a bubble canopy (aka baby jogger's and more headroom!)... great pics!

Interesting. I actually kind of liked the orange and didn't like the purple at all. I imagined the new purple in the old fabrics and though it would be a beautiful deep purple but I feel like in the new fabric it looks kind of muddy.

Good finds! I do think it looks prettier - like a BOB/MB cross. Funny thing is, while I think it looks really nice (and more padded), I don't think I'd trade mine in. And I probably wouldn't pass up a deal on one of the 2010s to spend an extra $125 on a newer one. But we all know how I :heartbeat: a bargain!

Honestly, I don't think it will affect resale that much. At least around here, BOBs are pretty in demand. I've always been amazed at how well they re-sell (almost for original MSRP in some cases), so even if they sell for a few dollars less, I don't think it will be a huge difference. Though I could be wrong!

ETA - they seem to have moved the wrist strap to the handlebar, which is interesting because supposedly the wriststrap at the base of the stroller is one of their safety features (so if you fall, you don't bring the stroller toppling down with you). Though that may just be the image...

Poohbear, I cannot open your link. The new Duallie looks better. That color combo looks nice. I am not loving the new colors in the single though. Jury is still out on the fabric if they are using a BJ-like fabric though.

I like the new black/grey. If I decide to go the bob route I think I'll hold out for a new one. Can't wait to see more close up photos!

Did you post it on Swap? I can't do it, 'cuz I gave the BOB guys my word that I wouldn't post any pics of it. Even though now it's kinda' in the public venue.

I think they look great. I really like my BOB. It is exactly what I need. But i didn't get it for the colors/ fabrics. I think this was a good move by the company to finally branch out with these new looks. And that basket looks like a huge improvement.

ITA. I don't love or hate the BOB's current looks, I just :heartbeat: the stroller! :bouncy: So... I think a freshening will just make people who do care about the looks help BOB sales (because it looks like they didn't deviate enough to turn current BOB lovers off). Plus, even with an increase in price (I believe I read it's going up to $439 or so), it's still going to be less expensive than the MBUS and MB Terrain and Valco Trimode and Bumbleride Indie (though now more than BJCE and BJ summit) which I think are it's main competitors....

Do a search - the improvements were listed in thread called what is with these bob sales and do I need one or something like that (I'll look for it)

basically - different fabrics, easier to attach attachments, wider seatbacks (though this seems silly because they are already really wide). Possibly more headroom in the canopy, more supportive seatback (though I don't find it to be that slouchy, but I also have a BJCM ;) )
