What to use to keep bugs out of clothes bins etc?

I know Moth balls are quite hazardous for kids, so what do you use to keep bugs etc away from the clothes?

Currently, I have clothes stored in boxes (in our closet), and plastic bins (underneath our bed). I was just changing stuff out and noticed two small dead bugs. YUK.

Cedar blocks or lavender sachets both work well.

i picked up some herbal thing once, years ago. they were little satchels made of paper (like a tea bag) and filled with lavender, rosemary, thyme, i can't remember exactly. if you can't find them, i imagine it should be easy enough to make them yourself.
i also have some cedar blocks, some are just blocks that you can put in a drawer or box and some have a hanger hook so that you can hang it in a closet.
