For those of you that have DCs with pet allergies, how early did you notice a reaction? My DD is 6 weeks old, and last night at my sister's she started sounding congested, I could feel her hard breathing in her her back when I was holding her and then she started coughing, with it becoming more persistent as time went on. We were visiting my in-laws earlier in the day and I thought she might be getting sick from my FIL. (big panic on my part ensued). But as soon as we got home she seemed fine, no more heavy breathing or coughing. My sister has a mini dauchound (sp?), and the dog was hanging out near the baby. I am thinking she might have inherited my DH's dog allergies. We have 3 cats at home, but so far they do not seem to affect her.
