Any suggestions on a train table for my ds? We want one to use with Thomas, etc.. and storage would be nice, but don't want to break the bank. Thanks!

Imaginarium train table from TRU, we got it on sale for 129. It comes with table, tracks (100% compatible with Thomas), accessories and a few trains.

Check out your local CL. We got the Kidkraft with trundles for $40 and it's in fantastic condition. I will say that I had to stalk the list for a week or 2 to get it. Worth every minute, though!

We have a Nilo with trundles and a Kidkraft without. The trundles are heavy to move, IMO. I have bins under the Kidkraft one and those work well. So, if you don't get trundles, you can still do storage.

I would search your Craigslist. You can get a really great one for less than $50. I would look for one with drawers. We also use a under the bed plastic storage tote to store some of the additional pieces.

Check your Target. They have an $80 one on clearance for $20. Likely gone but you never know!

Nilo will grow with your child.... that's why I bought one- and Target carries these plastic bins with wheels and handles on them that fit underneath with no problem.

(I ended up getting the Nilo trundles for a $35 when a toy store went out of business but used the plastic bins before that)

:yeahthat::yeahthat:

ours has been played with daily for over 3 years and still looks great.
i'm not a TRU person, but i highly recommend this table.
just put working batteries in all the pieces of the track that have been dead for probably months and its great!
nilo's are nice, but so expensive. i couldn't find one on CL.
