Anyone have any tips? No box spring needed. Just a mattress for a kid's bed.

Ikea! They have lots to choose from. We have a twin mattress from Ikea on my daughter's bed but I don't remember which one...

Do you have a Big Lots near you? We got a Serta for DS's bed there a couple years back. It's been good quality and was cheap!

ETA-I'd only use it for a child's bed or spare as I don't think it would be as comfortable or hold up as well with a heavier adult.

I am not sure what cheap is considered but we are going to go pick up a Full for DD tomorrow at Costco for $399.

ETA: Just saw you didn't need a box spring. I would probably go with Ikea for just a mattress.

Thanks for all the recs! I have an Ikea nearby but no time to go there. My guess is shipping will kill the deal? I was hoping to order online.

We got full sized mattresses with no boxsprings at Costco about a year ago. You just have to watch for them. I think they were around 200 and super comfy.

Most likely. Ikea shipping is usually very high. Ikea is so great though. Toys, cheap food, all sorts of random bargains you NEED. Just find the time and go. ;)

Think of it as a family outing. And I think you should take Al.

Go to Lazars - Moonlight Slumber for $319. There is a more expensive version for $419 but I don't remember the difference now.
