I really wish Lego would make Scooby Doo themed sets...minifigures and the Mystery Machine!

I found this when googling http://www.flickr.com/photos/proudlove/2398204401/in/photostream/ but a real set would be so fun!

What themed set are you hoping for?

I would love something like a princess castle with lots of pinks and pastels. Also I think a school and school bus, playground equipment etc for the city stuff would be fun.

I'm impressed with scooby's gang and I love Fred's ascot ;)

I'd really like to see school-based ones, yes. Commercially, I'd luuuurve some Mickey Mouse.

For me?

TRON

They would glow in the dark, of course.

For my kids?

I agree that Mickey Mouse would be cool. They could do the train from that special that was on last year. I like the idea of a school set, too.

We would also love a pink and purple princess castle, but I don't think that will happen....they are so focused on boy themes.

A school, school bus and playground would be a great City theme. Also some more storefronts for City.

And I thought of another licensed one that would be fun...Snoopy!

I would love Cinderella's castle! A pumpkin carriage, the glass slipper, etc.

A Disney princess theme would be cool.

More gender neutral sets. For example, castle would not have to be girly necessarily, but how about an equal number of female to male minifigures in sets?

Fairy tale themed would be cute.
Old-west themed particularly if it was gender neutral and not a bunch of cowboys with guns.

I just saw this set at the Lego store today.

I hope they come out with more sets that include buildings.

I love the city stuff but I'm not wild about the police line. I'm hoping they will come out with more city buildings soon. I think DS has pretty much everything else from the currently available city sets except the trains and the police.

I have written to Lego about their appalling lack of girl themed sets. The few that they do have are so easy to do, my 3 year old can practically do them. It is as if they think that girls are incapable of doing a construction project.

Their response was basically, get what we have or use the city products which are gender neutral.

I have pretty much stopped buying them for now because I think they are very sexist. One might say it is sexist to say that girls can only play with "girly" lego sets and vice versa, but to me, that is what my children are interested in. They don't want to play with Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom sets. They want people that look like them. Yes they want pink and green and purple legos, not brown and black.

I think they are missing a HUGE market share. If they put Disney princesses and an castle out in legos, I think they would fly off the shelves. If Lego is reading this, please just TRY one set, and see what happens!

OK rant is over, for now...
