I'm still waiting for mine. I need to dig out the paperwork and try and look into it. It probably says 8 - 10 weeks...which might be coming up? I sent it in the first week of Nov, I think.

Still waiting for mine. I need to check into it, too. I'm not feeling very hopeful but you never know.

I forgot to include the UPC code originally. They sent me a letter letting me know but haven't heard anything since I resubmitted my paperwork.

I got the rebate check today along with a letter saying it was not a valid rebate but they were going to honor it anyway.

along with a letter from 3M stating that the rebate form with an expiration of November 30, 2010 was invalid for purchases from Amazon but they are honoring it anyway. The rebate was supposed to be for retail only. I don't remember if we downloaded that rebate form directly from Amazon but they claim they only had the valid one with an expiration of July 31. Anybody remember if the rebate was directly from a link on Amazon? Either way, thumbs up to 3M for sending me my $20 check. I thought that was great customer service.

Oh geez, I hope they honor all of them! I need to check my submission and figure out how long it has been. Thanks for the update.

I got the letter (with the rebate check) too. It said as long as the purchases were made on or priotr to 11/30/10 - they would honor it.

Hope everyone gets it!!

I got mine today as well. Weird letter but glad that they honored it. I haven't even tried my laminator yet. What do you all use it for? I could use some ideas. TIA

I used it to make chore charts for the boys. They can use crayon to check off boxes, and the crayon wipes right off with a tissue.

I got my rebate today and the same letter. I'm impressed that Scotch honored it. I've had many a rebate denied for various reasons. Kudos to them.

As far as using it. You could do flash cards.

I did name tags for DD's Daisy Scout Troop, but that's it so far.

I got mine without any problems or additional correspondence, but I also bought mine back in the summer, so I'm not sure if you're talking about a more recent rebate since then.

I got mine yesterday. I actually kept a copy of what I submitted, and the rebate form states that it expires 11-30-10 and also specifically states that you must include an original packing slip from Amazon.com. It mentions nothing about retail-only purchases.

Honestly, the letter seems strange as the rebate form clearly mentions Amazon and the 11-30-10 expiration date. Not sure how they would've NOT honored these...
