Recommendations on a vacuum for the stairs

We have a lot of stairs in our house and my older upright vacuum last lost it's arm pieces for the stairs and under furniture but it was haul to bring it up and down the stairs anyway as it was soo heavy. So I want a small, easy to use, affordable vacuum just to do stairs and small pick ups!

Recommendations please!!!!!

I have yet to come across a great solution to this problem as I am not willing to drag my big vacuum up the stairs and the hose is not long enough anyway. Good Luck!
