I'm looking for something without bad chemicals to give my hair volume (like mousse) that's not too expensive. Does anyone have a suggestion?

I don't use mousse but check out the skin deep database.

I have short hair so I tend to use styling waxes, etc. in my hair. I use a few Giovanni products. Some of their products are rated as pretty safe, while others are not as "green" as they seem, kwim?

Might be worth a look?

Thanks! I'll give the Giovanni products a check on the skin deep database.

I love MOP volumizing mist. I think it's about $15-20/bottle. I believe it is organic. Not sure about its stats on skindeep. Intelligent Nutrients has supposedly very good hair products. Their volumizing spray is almost $30.
Haven't had any success with anything other than MOP. love that product!

Thanks for the rec! I couldn't find it in the skindeep database, but I did find the Intelligent Nutrients. I'm with you....$30 a bottle is a bit steep. :) Giovanni does have a mousse that gets a 2 (I believe).

Where do you buy the MOP volumizing mist?

I found the Giovanni mousse at my health food store, so I'll give it a try. Hopefully, it works well. Thanks for your help, ladies!
