FYI Frozen Diet Coke

If you freeze a bottle of Diet Coke (unintentionally at the back of the fridge), when you thaw it only partially, it does NOT taste the same. AND, it fizzes all over when you open it.

All in all, a huge disappointment on a day when I REALLY needed a break.

I heard that this is one of the reasons you rarely see Diet Coke Slurpees... because aspartame doesn't freeze well. :( When they do make diet slurpee flavours, they use a different sweetener.

Sorry about your spoiled Diet Coke break. :( I like to put a can of Coke Zero in the freezer for about 30 minutes and then drink... mmm... frosty goodness. :p

In my experience, if you freeze the Diet Coke, it will explode and you will have brown ice drippings all over the freezer.

I once walked into a 7-11 and they had Diet Coke Slurpees. I practically danced out of there. Never saw them again. Very sad.

Oh no! I have had them blow before in the freezer. They are never right after getting too hot or too cold. :(
