I'm so in the mood to shop too! Disclaimer: I haven't purchased from any of these.

The girls are going to be in a spring wedding so I have been searching for flower girl dresses. One particular seller I have fallen in love with, is this one:http://www.etsy.com/shop/abushelandapeckbiz?ref=seller_info
This is the dress I especially like: http://www.etsy.com/listing/57313146/white-fancy-eyelet-perfect-for-flower

It looks like my cousin has picked some other dresses but I love these so much I might get them as Easter dresses.

This woman is the absolute best! She has made every crib, joovy and pack and play sheet we use, and has also made us washcloths and stroller strap covers. She can make anything and has an amazing knack for color and fun. Love her.

Not all Dillards do, so it may be worth a call. I will PM you the info for the store where I saw them. :) They should be having another extra % off at month end if they have bumped up in price.

I've been shopping vintage or vintage inspired jewlery recently. I like sellers who combine vintage pieces in new ways (sometimes with new elements).

Any good recommendations for sterling silver necklaces but not hand stamped mommy jewelry. :0) I am looking for a new everyday necklace.....I actually do have my eye on this one:
http://www.etsy.com/listing/59003902/personalized-sterling-silver-chain-or

I do like the personalized necklaces listed by Sally but I need something waterproof for an everyday/all the time necklace.

I just ordered these....although it was a 3 set sampler....I hope DH loves it for V-day. The seller was really easy to work with and responded to my questions very quickly.

I was wondering this too.

That's a tough combination. They're pretty gentle, no real grip, other than the tension of the band (which isn't a lot). I bought them as a gentler and more attractive alternative to the black goodie elastics I usually use. I'd wouldn't say they're terrible for slippage, but they're not the best either.

And any other recommendations for a fairly simple party dress, with ruffle pants or something similar for a 1 year old?

Thanks!

just bought this screen-printed T (http://www.etsy.com/transaction/42635780) and it's gorgeous!

These Rainy Day Craft Kits (http://www.etsy.com/transaction/40141149) are great; I've bought two so far. I realize this is something I could do myself, but I don't have the inclination...so much easier to click & send!!!:p The seller is amazing and I just tell her who her audience is (who she's making it for) and voila! They're great!

I bought This Bowl made from a record (http://www.etsy.com/transaction/38462868) for my friend's dh's 40th bday

This ipod pouch (http://www.etsy.com/transaction/37662893) was another 'male' 40th bday gift

I've been eying this cool license plate jewelry (http://www.etsy.com/shop/StressTheSeams?section_id=7669158&page=1)

All the posts about organizing has me wanting A fabric organizing bin (http://www.etsy.com/shop/baffinbags)

I've got a favorites list a mile long, but here are some highlights:

I LOVE the reusable bowl covers from this seller: http://www.etsy.com/shop/SewMuchStyle?section_id=6548534 I've got several sets and have also given them as gifts.

Very cute reusable sandwich bags: http://www.etsy.com/shop/TheSilverBobbin

http://www.artfire.com/modules.php?name=Shop&sc_id=99027&seller_id=40257&op=new (sorry, that's Artfire, she doesn't seem to do her thread earrings on Etsy anymore)

I've got a lot of things from this seller, but my fave is the custom purse she did for my mom for Xmas from upcycled saris. It was gorgeous! http://www.etsy.com/listing/65306945/sari-hobo-bag?ga_search_query=sari%2Bhobo&ga_search_type=user_shop_ttt_id_5488553

The soaps from this shop are heavenly: http://www.etsy.com/shop/soapstarcanada

cleaner. I definitely want the Caramel and the Cozy Home. Plus
maybe a Lavender and Hot Apple Strudel.

My DD is turning 5 in March and I would love to get her something with her name on it. She has a unique name and I would never find anything at a local store.

I have thought about a personalized crayon roll, but she really is into markers now, not crayons.

That stinks! I had quite a few things done through Alchemy.

I did notice that requests were not getting many bids by the

the Etsy sellers. They probably feel that it isn't worth their time.

I find that the site that Corie linked is useful, and I do go there myself, but it's important to keep in mind that the shops listed there are not "top" sellers in terms of being the best or offering the best product, but that they're the sellers in their category that have the most sales. So, sellers that do a lot of bulk and repetition are overrepresented there because they sell in bulk and just keep relisting the same thing over and over. You won't find a lot of one-of-a-kind, or OOAK in Etsy-speak there.

I prefer to browse treasuries, do category searches, and judge each shop based on description and feedback. It's a little riskier, but I think that if a shop has lots of good feedback and happy customers then it's a good bet...and so far, I haven't had a problem.

I just bought a bracelet from this shop and I'm wearing it now :) : http://www.etsy.com/shop/justhipstuff

Corie, I think you're totally right that Craftcount is a great place to start. Etsy's internal search is awful - and I say that as someone who deals with information retrieval for a living - and it drives me completely batty! It's good to have a jumping-off place, especially since they got rid of the shop local feature of Pounce. Which was nice when I was looking for a seller w/in Canada and had a time crunch in terms of delivery :(

I love love love my new bracelet!

Now, does anyone have any recommendations for sellers of play food? I've been looking but it's getting frustrated. Some of the sellers I'd bought from in the past seem to have closed up shop, or stopped doing felt food.

The entire thing is one long piece that you wrap around and around your wrist and then secure with a button. I wish I could buy artwork. My husband has a thing about putting holes in the walls. He doesn't like to do it, ever! So strange.

Give him some framed photos and some spackle and a trowel for Father's Day.

(My DH has a thing about painting the crappyass pine moulding in the house... like it's some treasured heirloom wood. I understand...)

My big thing is artwork. I don't have any walls left but I still
continue to search for art. Every room in my house has Etsy artwork. :)

Corie,

Which sellers do you recommend for artwork? Thanks.

You don't have a single thing on your walls? Holes are so easy
to patch up! Just shove a chewed up piece of gum in there and paint
over it. ;)

The funny thing is that we'll probably have to paint before we move, since we have very bright colors on a lot of our walls. I don't see the big deal about having to patch a few holes first!

so i actually have a similar phobia to putting holes in the wall (call it fear of commitment). but i love artwork, so i use the 3m velcro picture hanging strips. they work beautifully and can peel off easily without ruining the walls!

http://www.etsy.com/listing/57271698/garden-to-table-card-table-playhouse

We don't have the playhouse, but did order the personalized mailbag (DD's actual mailbag is the one from this picture - the seller asked me if she could use a photo of it - I think she was just starting to do the personalized ones, at the time - http://www.etsy.com/listing/62821960/personalized-mail-bag-and-mail-your. DD loves this set and plays with it all the time - we have had it for about 3 years and it still looks great (a bit of pilling but otherwise, great).

ETA: Our felt letters were not personalized, but do have stitching to make it look like it has an address. Very cute. I am thinking about ordering some of the envelopes, now, too! :)

Just ordered one of the playhouses. Will try to post photos when it arrives. Seller was very easy to work with, and totally customized it to a larger size to fit over our dinning room table, let me mix and match 'walls' from different houses she'd posted, add and delete things.

I'm a little late to this thread, but it's been great (if not expensive for me)

Love Cories link above to the GS cookie necklace, and found these 'cabbage earings' at the same seller that would easily double as brussle sprouts. Might be a great gift for charter members of the BBB I love brussel sprout society.

Oh my goodness those are so adorable and I know DD will love it and I'm justifying it because she's not really having a birthday party. She so doesn't need it but I KNOW she'll love it. A bag, a tutu, pink...what's not to love?

And as long as I bit the bullet on that I figured I should bite the bullet on the sidewalk sensations for DS's upcoming party. I've been so good with not shopping lately but I changed from being an emotional eater to an emotional shopper! Not such a good transition!

I've been so good about just window shopping this thread until now.
