I am trying to think of something special, kid friendly and not too complicated to serve that day??? I am only coming up with heart shaped meatloaf. :)

Heart shaped pancakes.

Or, have a "heart healthy" meal and skip the meat all together.

Or choose any casserole that sort of firms up and bake it in a heart shaped cake pan.

Oh! Black-eyed peas and heart shaped corn bread!!! (Ok, now I know what I am making!)

Or do Mac-n-cheese with heart shaped pasta. Or a noodle soup with heart shaped noodles.

You can use a heart cookie cutter to cut out so many different things...sandwiches, fruit (like melon), etc.

Costco had heart shaped ravioli. I bought some.

We will likely make a heart shaped cookie too.

We are having cheese fondue and chocolate fondue. We did this on New Year's Eve with the kids and they loved it. I served following with the cheese: bread cubes, tomates, green beans,broccoli & meatballs. With the chocolate we had angle food cake, bananas, strawberries and apples.

I was also coming in to say fondue.

I normally just do cheese fondue and a salad but I'm going to make a chocolate one too.

Cubed pound cake or rice krispie treats are fun in chocolate fondue...marshmallows too.
